The Bluecoat

Translations is a participatory arts projects that combines mask making with photography. The project works with a group of refugees and those seeking asylum to create interpretive masks from photographs.
These masks are photographed in locations around Liverpool and aim to ask questions around the experience of living in the city.

The project is delivered by Liverpool based social enterprise Emotive Matters, with the support of The Bluecoat and funded by Arts Council England.
