The Liverpool Pride of Place Project
The Caravan Gallery
17 May – 16 June 2013
79 Renshaw Street

The Caravan Gallery transform 81 Renshaw Street, Liverpool into a dynamic photography exhibition-cum-alternative visitor information centre.

Artists Jan Williams and Chris Teasdale set the scene with an exhibition of astutely observed, thought provoking and sometimes hilarious images from The Caravan Gallery archive.

Local residents and visitors are invited to contribute by sharing their views and creative talents to help produce a wonderfully anarchic and refreshingly honest exhibition celebrating their area.

The Liverpool and Wirral Pride of Place Projects will explore local and regional distinctiveness. The exhibitions will grow day by day as visitors add their own observations and creations to The People’s Map and The People’s Wall.

A great opportunity for the people of Merseyside to show
off their creativity!

THE CARAVAN GALLERY TOUR DATES

The Caravan Gallery will visit a number of locations in Liverpool and Wirral to encourage participation in their Merseyside Pride of Place Projects and promote their exhibition — Merseystyle: Photographs by The Caravan Gallery, at the Museum of Liverpool.
