Merseyside-based photographer Pete Carr took a series of portraits in a photo booth in Leaf (an independent teashop and bar) on a single day in February 2012. A range of people were photographed, from old to young, in an attempt to create an honest image of the community there. What interested Pete most was taking the time to engage with this community, to look beyond the cliches and stereotypes of trendy city cafes.
