Marc Beaussart's project Prosthesis started by a collaboration with
the French charity 'Kinesitherapeutes du Monde'. The charity teaches techniques on how to construct prostheses in challenging environments within third world countries.

Marc wanted to show the wide contrast between the technologically advanced medical prostheses made by engineers in developed countries and the 'D.I.Y - serendipitous' equipment made out of recycling material by the charity volunteers and locals. This body of work focuses on the details of handmade medical equipment made of cheap materials sourced locally.

Tabitha Jussa's series ‘Neither Here Nor There’ is a continuation of works that question the relationship between people, space and time. Can physical spaces and buildings define us? Or are they defined by who we are? The exhibition presents a selection of Liverpool’s buildings and spaces that now stand in a state of flux. Can they inform us of who we are and the way that we live now as well as in the recent past? Each photograph consists of between 10-50 individual negative images, composited together digitally to create a newly constructed view of each building.

Peter Mearns' project Beach & Pool turns the prying and voyeuristic camera lens on how we behave when many of our usual inhibitions are abandoned. Mearns fascination for the seaside goes back to his childhood. The more intimate images can be risky to capture without causing offence or getting into trouble so Mearns tries to blend into the scene, taking his time and sometimes using family and friends as decoys. The images are voyeuristic and sometimes he feels like a thief, stealing personal moments and things that don’t belong to him.
