Identity Documents is a still life photographic project that examines the relationship between possessions, namely books, and identity. The project plays on the idea that the photograph is a document, an objective snapshot of reality, and seeks to engage viewers in a dialogue with the photograph, drawing out conclusions as to the books’ owners’ personalities, interests and identities.
